About Women’s Health Tools
A small, independent project offering free calculators for common questions about periods, fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period.
What this site is
Women’s Health Tools provides simple, browser-based calculators. Each tool explains its method, its assumptions, and what it cannot tell you. The goal is to make estimates easier to understand — not to replace a conversation with a healthcare professional.
How estimates are made
The calculators use widely described calendar conventions, such as estimating the next period from cycle length, estimating ovulation about 14 days before the next period, and dating pregnancy from the first day of the last period. The code is transparent, the inputs stay in your browser, and every tool page states its limits.
What this site is not
- It is not a medical provider or a clinical service.
- It does not provide a diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
- It does not confirm ovulation, pregnancy, or labor.
- It does not claim review or endorsement by a clinician or medical organization.
For medical questions, contact a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Read the full medical disclaimer.
Privacy
Calculations run in your browser. The dates you enter are not sent to a server or saved to an account. See the privacy notice for details about hosting logs, analytics, and what the site does not collect.
Keeping the site useful
Tools and explanations are reviewed for clarity and updated when assumptions or wording need improvement. If a date estimate looks wrong, check your inputs first — and use the date your care team provides when you have one.
