Medical disclaimer

The tools on this site provide educational estimates. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they do not create a clinician-patient relationship.

Estimates, not conclusions

Period, ovulation, fertile-window, due-date, and pregnancy-week results are calendar-based estimates. They depend on the dates you enter and on assumptions that may not match your body or your care team’s assessment. A result is not confirmation that ovulation occurred, that a pregnancy is developing as expected, or that labor has started.

Not a contraceptive method

Do not use calendar-based predictions to prevent pregnancy. They cannot reliably identify days when conception is impossible. Talk with a healthcare professional about contraception that fits your needs.

Pregnancy and contractions

A due date is a reference point, not a prediction of the exact day you will give birth. A contraction timer records timing but cannot assess whether you are in labor. Contact your maternity care team if:

  • Contractions become regular or painful, especially before 37 weeks
  • Your waters break or you have bleeding
  • Your baby’s movements decrease or change noticeably
  • You have severe pain, fever, or feel unwell
  • Anything else worries you

If you think you or your baby may be in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
